My name is Vonna Contino Maslanka ~ I was born and raised as an only child in the state of Illinois, with my parents. I am married, and have children.
Her journey into the world of design began in 2005 as she took a giant leap few have the talent to duplicate. With no formal jewelry design instruction Vonna decided after thirty five years to walk away from her day job, and never look back. Absorbing the world around her she is know for her asymmetry and her keen eye for color. Simplicity is not in her vocabulary; her distinctive eclectic design using only using high quality elements, handmade artisan lamp work glass beads makes her standout alone among the rest. Her determination to push the limits has no boundary; she takes life as it comes to her straight on. Her inspiration comes from within her soul, her surroundings, as well as what ever lies ahead of her in life. She states that - “Learning is a process, perfecting the technique can be a challenging; putting my own spin to the design, makes me justvonna, what you see is what you get!”
